Youth Basketball Leagues & Kindergarten Clinic 2012

Recreation League
Thank you for a successful 2011 season!  Registration for 2012 will begin August 2012.

The recreation league places emphasis on fair and equal play, fundamentals, and most of all a fun experience for all participants.  Players will be randomly chosen for teams and coaches are on a volunteer basis.  Parents, help us out by volunteering to coach.  Number of participants is limited, when those numbers are reached, registrations will close.  No refunds for individuals or teams who choose not to participate.  All players will receive a t-shirt.

Boys grades:  1-2, 3-4, 5-6
Girls grades:   1-2, 3-4, 5-6
Fee:  $30.00 per child; $25.00 each additional family member

Team League

This league places more emphasis on individual and team skills directed toward competitive play.  Players will be signed up as a team by their own coach.  Limit 12 players per team.  Coaches may pick up the proper paperwork at the Civic Center.  Number of participants is limited, 4 teams required to form a league.  If inadequate numbers exist, teams may be divided to produce more teams.  No refunds for individuals or teams who choose not to participate.  All players will receive a t-shirt.  AAU teams and players are not allowed in this league.

Girls grades:   1-2, 3-4, 5-6
Fee:  $30.00 per child; $25.00 each additional family member

Kindergarten Basketball Clinic (Coed)
Registration information will be posted August 2012.  Offered on Monday evenings from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, this clinic is a FUN way to introduce your child to basketball.  Players will practice shooting, free throws, dribbling and passing.  All players will receive a t-shirt.  Parents, we could use your help to ensure the success of this clinic.  Please help us out by volunteering.

The Civic Center is asking parents and resident to help us ensure the success of our youth sports leagues by volunteering.  Whether you'd like to be a coach or assistant, we could use your help!  Please sign up at the Civic Center or phone (573) 756-0900 for more information.
